The support provided by Mr. Stubenazi was crucial in integrating myself in a totally new environment, new country, new town, new job and new colleagues. If I’m thinking back, at that time he never told me what to do; he just asked questions, guided me to draw conclusions and helped me to act upon my own decisions.
I remember in particular the discussions over my life line, so insightful for important decisions I made in the past and strong sentiments that influenced them! The ‘Aha!’ moments were extremely powerful and sometimes painful, but with the understanding of my coach and his warmth and pleasant acting he helped me to overcome them.
I cannot thank him enough for all the support during that period at the beginning of my work in Germany – it worked perfectly for me. The proof is in all the years that passed and all the projects completed not only there, but throughout my entire time in Central and Eastern Europe as well.

Becoming a leader of a team was a challenge in itself. Besides owning a topic and now also taking over responsibility for a team was a combination which was completly new to me. I was sure that I will deliver and bring not only myself but also my team to success.
But there was something else which was not outspoken in my working world and it developed as the biggest obstacle in my business career. Being gay - as a leader - and hoping that nobody finds out - was adding an additonal challenge to my daily live. I was afraid that being gay could stop my career and people will pinpoint me for that. Even more - I put this on top of me so that I was blocked doing my actual work as a leader.
Coaching by Mr. Stubenazi helped me to accept myself for what I am - and how to deal with it in my working environment. Learning to accept myself as I am - also in the businessworld - made me a more confident leader.
